Job Title: HRIS Analyst

Compensation: $90K to 110K per year DOE

The Senior HRIS Analyst plays a key role in managing and maintaining our client's primary HRIS system, MUNIS (Tyler Technologies), while integrating and optimizing other HR systems. This position works closely with the Organizational Health and Payroll Departments to ensure accurate and efficient management of employee data, system updates, and reporting. The Analyst uses data to support decision-making, improve processes, and ensure the integrity and effectiveness of HR operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Primary HRIS Management: Oversees data input, maintenance, and use of the HRIS system to ensure accurate personnel records. Manages employee self-service actions, supervises HR Technician data entry, and ensures transactions comply with labor agreements and policies.
- System Maintenance & Updates: Designs, tests, and updates the client's enterprise resource planning system (ERP), troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Salary Adjustments: Coordinates merit-based salary increases, salary adjustments based on employment agreements, and imports salary adjustments linked to labor agreements. Prepares and analyzes annual non-union salary structure adjustments.
- Reports & Data Analysis: Designs and maintains reports, charts, and statistical analyses to support internal audits and District operations. Provides forecasting, trending, and strategic recommendations for HR planning. Supports compensation analysis and salary surveys.
- HRIS Connectivity: Manages data flows between the primary HRIS and other applications (e.g., talent management, benefits providers) to enhance HR systems efficiency.
- Point of Contact: Acts as the primary liaison for HRIS transactions, data integrity, and personnel data across various locations. Responds to ad hoc data requests and supports ERP configuration and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, or a related field.
- Four years of experience in HR with a focus on HRIS or ERP systems, including data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Tyler Enterprise ERP (MUNIS) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop complex queries utilizing SQL Server Management Studio and SSRS
- Experience with Power BI for report writing
- Advanced skills in Excel, including use of pivot tables, charts, and vlookup functions
- Ability to perform complex mathematical and statistical computations quickly
