Core Responsibilities
- Lead team in design change management .
- Coordinate project designs, evaluations, and studies.
- Quality control review of designs prepared by others.
- Coordinate and assemble overall design team proposals , including estimating in-house engineering.
- As main point of contact for client, respond to needs and questions, and manage contract administration, scheduling, and costing . Establish project budgets and schedules .
- Track project timelines, expenditures, and project deliverables .
- Orchestrate and lead project kick-off meetings , coordination meetings, and design review meetings for the project team to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor and manage contracted responsibilities to ensure services provided agree with contracted services and prepare additional service requests if needed.
- Lead interactions with local municipalities and with contractor teams for permitting and construction activities .
- Work in the field on a construction site as required, arranging construction site walkthroughs and lead project team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
