Accounting Supervisor (Hybrid/Remote)

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a prominent Logistics partner near Maplewood bringing on a new Accounting Supervisor. If you are seeking to take that next steps in your career or take oon a new challenge where your skill and experience will be valued then this is the position for you!

• Pay: $80,000-$105,000 plus Bonus
• Hybrid/Remote (1 day/week remote)

• Supervise and lead a team of accounting professionals; assign tasks and ensure quality and timeliness of work.

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies and procedures.

• Coordinate and support audits (internal and external) and tax filings.

• Mentor and train junior staff; provide performance feedback and professional development opportunities.

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
  
  

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Excel.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
