Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all incoming invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining financial records. This role supports the accounting department by performing a variety of administrative and financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the company's financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for goods and services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Review and reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits.
- Handle employee expense reimbursements and related administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
