Are you a detail-oriented, problem-solving pro with a knack for customer service? We're looking for a dynamic Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our clients team on a permanent basis. You'll be responsible for managing customer claims, resolving disputes, and keep things running smoothly. What You'll Be Doing:
* Research and resolve customer program deductions, returns, operational fees, and short payment claims
* Gather and verify claims documentation from customers, remittance advice, or web portals to make sure everything is in order
* Investigate and process claims for unauthorized deductions, track returned products, shortages, and fees, all while keeping things organized
* Maintain customer-specific requirements and ensure every deduction and partial payment is coded correctly
* Keep our dispute management database up-to-date, assign cases for validation, and work with cross-functional teams to get to the bottom of customer account issues
* Support the reconciliation process, manage portals, track claims, and help your team stay on top of month-end closing and year-end audits
* Prep Excel uploads, assist with payment application errors, and generate monthly reports on denied disputes like an expert
What You Bring to the Table:
* Previous experience in Accounts Receivable-if you've worked with Microsoft Dynamics, even better!
* Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP (you know your way around a spreadsheet)
* A proactive attitude when it comes to customer follow-up and collaborating with cross-functional teams
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills-talking to people is what you do best!
