We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant with expertise in consolidations to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and experience managing complex financial close for multi-entity organizations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial statements while maintaining compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and eliminated in the consolidation process.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages for management, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and improve consolidation processes, internal controls, and accounting policies.
- Collaborate with finance teams across different entities to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
- Stay up to date with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards to ensure compliance.
- Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate accounting, consolidations, or financial reporting.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial consolidation software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
