Job Description
Our client in Atlanta is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Accountant for a contract to hire role, hybrid role.
Salary: $37-$42/Hr. DOE
Responsibilities
* Prepare and analyze payroll reports and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
* Perform accounting tasks related to payroll, including balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger reconciliation and month-end close.
* Prepare financial statements and accruals and analyze results.
* Responsible for end-to-end payroll process including auditing timecards, special payroll, and various reports as needed by HR and Finance.
Qualifications
* 5 Years of Accounting and payroll experience , preferably is non-profit, government or healthcare
* Degree in Accounting required. CPA a plus.
* Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and Vlookups, for data analysis and reporting.
* Proficiency in ADP and Deltek Costpoint highly desired
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
