Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking a diligent and experienced Real Estate Accountant/Bookkeeper for their expanding team in Hallandale Beach. The Property Accountant/Bookkeeper will handle the day-to-day accounting functions and contribute to maintaining the financial health of the organization.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform CAM reconciliations to ensure accurate tenant billing and expense allocations.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, forecasting financial performance.
- Maintain comprehensive accounting records and manage tenant ledgers.
- Handle expense accruals to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and their application in property accounting.
- Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Previous experience in property accounting, property management, or real estate accounting.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple financial tasks efficiently.
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, specific hours to be discussed during the interview process.
Competitive salary with a pay range between $65,000 and $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
