Senior Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to the company's financial success. Reports to a CPA!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting month end functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Back up for payroll and review payroll for final processing
• Prepare financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
• Assist with coordination and complete annual audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Experience working in manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
• Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
