Position Title: Senior Cost Accountant
We are looking for Cost Accountant who has 3 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry to join our growing team on a full-time basis!
This will be an on-site job located at our office in the Chanhassen area!
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Accountant / ERP Specialist to lead cost accounting functions, contribute to financial reporting, and support the optimization of ERP systems. This role involves collaboration with teams across the organization, including international operations, and requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update cost accounting systems, ensuring accurate rates for labor, materials, and overhead.
- Analyze and report on labor efficiencies, product pricing, and cost variances to support gross margin goals.
- Reconcile monthly inventory and balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Oversee inventory processes, including annual physical counts and reviews for obsolete stock.
- Prepare financial reports, including budgets and variance analyses, and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support financial process improvements and undertake ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Gain expertise in Visual ERP software, troubleshooting issues, maintaining system accuracy, and collaborating with IT for enhancements and staff training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (CPA is a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of standard cost methods, variance analysis, and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Key Skills & Traits:
- Extensive experience in cost accounting within manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Expertise with PowerBI is a plus!

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
