Supervisor Food Service

Supervisor Shift Manager is responsible for the daily operation of restaurant. This role will report to the Store Manager. In this role, you will help oversee 2 locations inside BWI Airport. Supervise 17-18 staff members. In this role, you will teach and direct staff to ensure that customers are satisfied. Ensure prep is done.

Duties
Supervisor Shift Manager typically do the following:

• Teach and Train and then oversee all staff members
• Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food (manage food costs)
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas
• Ensure that employees comply with food safety standards
• Address complaints regarding food quality or service
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties (manage labor costs)
• Manage budgets (food and labor costs)
• Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service

Monday - 2pm - Close

Tuesday - OFF

Wednesday - 4:30am - 12pm

Thursday - 4:30am - 12pm

Friday - OFF

Saturday - 4:30am - 12pm

Sunday - 2pm - Close

This role is responsible for all functions of the business related to employees. Manager will interview, hire, train, oversee, discipline. The Supervisor during busy periods may expedite orders by helping to serve customers, prep food as needed and processing payments.

Both Manager and Supervisor will help arrange for cleaning and maintenance services for the equipment and facility in order to comply with health and sanitary regulations. This role will help arrange for trash removal, pest control, and deep cleaning kitchen when needed. Also, check that ovens, grills, and other equipment are properly cleaned and secured, and that the establishment is locked at the close of business.

Keep employee records, late, call out, any situation during shift. Count register and change box. Count and process daily cash deposits and airline voucher slips and secure them in the safe.

This Supervisor role will start at $17.50 hourly salary, 38-40 hours per week. There will be a 45 day "trial" or training period to make sure you are happy, like the job and we are happy with you. After which we will part ways OR this role will go to $18 hourly.
