Cashier/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a customer-oriented Cashier/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment.

Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Greet customers entering the store with a friendly demeanor
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products or services
- Upsell products and engage customers in product demos when applicable

_ Take customer orders and serve food and beverages
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area

Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Strong communication skills with good phone etiquette
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in technical sales or appliance sales is advantageous

- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of Positouch POS system is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with food handling and safety protocols
- Willingness to assist in various tasks to support the team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
