Marketplace Manager

Come join our fun and energetic marketplace team. Our gourmet marketplace features sandwiches, cheeses, baked goods, olive oils fudges, and wine specials. We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer service-oriented team leader with an outgoing personality to join our team!

Responsibilities include:
In a hands-on role performs, oversees, and leads the day-to-day operations of the marketplace.

Manages marketplace staff, ensuring they are trained, executing assigned tasks and reaching sales goals.

Placing weekly food and merchandise orders

Works with ownership to identify new products to feature and analyze profit margins.

Greets guests in a warm, friendly, and welcoming manner as they enter the marketplace
Offering guests assistance finding wines, products, etc. The marketplace team is the last impression for the guest; therefore, customer service is essential!
Pouring and selling featured wine, training staff on wines and driving sales
Cutting, packing, weighing and displaying cheese, meats, pasta salads, as needed
Creating daily cheese platters for tastings and pre-orders
Fulfilling sandwich, cheese, and picnic lunch orders for guests as needed
Assisting customers with purchases of olive oils and chocolate sauces while providing superior customer service
Locating and packing wine to fulfill wine club will call orders as well as daily purchases for customers
Accurately using a POS system to ring up guest orders, accurately enter shipping information, order details, etc.
Leads by example and engages in conversation with customers to ensure an enjoyable and personable experience

Requirements:
Desire to provide superior customer service, lead a team and achieve sales goals
Dependable, honest with focused work ethic and positive “can do” attitude
Ability to engage with customers and participate in professional conversation to provide them with a personal and memorable experience
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn AMS POS system
Quick learner, dependable and punctual

A self-starter that is motivated to accomplish assigned tasks
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy of work
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, work well under pressure.

Effectively prioritize and delegate tasks
Must have reliable transportation.

Must be able to work weekends
Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.25 - $36.45 per hour
