In 2006, Lee Building Products implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which was an exciting transition for our traditional, family-owned company. Lee Building Products, a leading manufacturer of Concrete Masonry Units, is seeking a Block Plant Production Supervisor Trainee for the Mooresville, Indiana location. You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers once your training process is complete.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate the daily activities of the production shift team

· Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel

· Execute designated production schedule

· Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions

· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

· Promote a continuous improvement environment

· Complete daily productivity and inventory tracking forms

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields

· Knowledge of production tools and equipment

· Strong leadership qualities

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Willingness to be hands-on

· The flexibility to move between multiple shifts and nearby locations

· Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills a plus but not a requirement

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
