Responsibilities
- Develops an understanding of BAS communication protocols
- Has an in-depth understanding of Ohm's Law and electrical circuits
- Understands the basic concepts of blueprints and schematic drawings
- Develops a basic understanding of HVAC systems and components
- Possesses Siemens, Honeywell and/or Trane BAS certifications
- Understands concepts of VFD's and the ability to perform operational function checks
- Understands the basic concepts of Test and Balance procedures
- Possesses basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Installation & Commissioning Interoperability of systems experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Windows operating system and BAS engineering software is required
- A strong understanding of IT networks and protocols is necessary
