Seeking entry level candidates. Assist lead duct cleaner with laying out, assembling, and cleaning all areas of residential HVAC installations including any ductwork, coils, blowers, and package systems. Gas piping, venting and electrical as well.
Education And Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of field experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Can effectively teach helpers or newer lead the trade and the Lee Company way
- Observe and plan duct cleanings on residential and light commercial systems from 1 to 5-ton units
- Effectively observe and plan to complete duct cleaning on 2 system homes in the same day with one crew
- Effective observe and plan to completed duct cleaning on 2 separate units at 2 separate location from 1.5 to 3-ton duct systems
- Effectively clean all types of hard metal dryer vents
- Replace any flexible type dryer vents with 4 in hard metal
- Replace dryer vent termination on outside of the house
- Pull and clean indoor blowers
- Chemically clean evaporator coils as needed without removing them from the system
- Set up and operate negative air duct cleaning machine
- Properly seal duct connections and duct systems with mastic
- Properly cut in and install supply boots, return grills, and minor duct repairs as needed
