We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This dynamic role will involve managing and estimating costs for construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine the scope and requirements.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop project schedules and manage timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time.
- Manage project budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of projects, including overseeing site activities, ensuring quality control, and enforcing safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure expectations are met and any project issues are addressed.
- Monitor and report project progress, preparing regular updates for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an estimator and project manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and project management best practices.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing project teams.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, AACE, etc.) would be a plus.
- Experience with both commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction software (e.g., ConstructionOnline, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Timberline Estimating and Project Management).
