Responsibilities
- Assist Foreman on site and help lead portions of the job associated with form carpentry
- Assemble concrete form systems
- Fabricate and install hand crafted steel and or wood forms
- Weld, cut, and install embedded steel items in concrete
- Assist with layout
- Assist in placing and finishing concrete walls & slabs
- Stage and setup equipment and materials needed on the job
Requirements
- Experience with re-steel
- Proficient with concrete wall forms
- Proficient in measuring and cutting
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given by site Foreman and Field Ops Supervisor
- Bending, kneeling, reaching, squatting frequently
- Follow Foreman’s instructions
- Lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs
- Overhead work
- Open to some travel
- Valid Driver’s License required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
- Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
- Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
