Responsibilities:
- Assist Service Technicians in performing facility preventative maintenance and repairs as directed
- Assist in lubricating dampers, motors, and other mechanical equipment
- Perform minor carpentry repairs as needed
- Check and change equipment belts as directed
- Perform minor repairs and/or replacements on drywall, wood, carpet, and other materials located in the facility as directed.
- Assist in the submission of work orders for major repairs.
- Stage and setup tools and materials
- Perform jobsite cleanup.
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Eager to learn preventative maintenance and facility repairs
- Understanding of job site safety and guidelines
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics and tunnels.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
- Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
- Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally

- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
