Concrete Batch Plant Operator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate assistance to customers
• Concrete truck dispatching
• Coordinate testing schedules as needed
• Manage inventory of raw materials
• Ensure proper equipment and maintenance
• Recommend and assist with process and equipment improvements
• Maintain an organized and safe environment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company, local, state, and federal environmental policies, procedures, and regulations

Skills

• Current, valid state drivers license
• Satisfactory driving and criminal record
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic work environment.
• Previous batch plant operating experience is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of Command Alkon software is preferred, but not required

Education and Physical Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull, squat, climb stairs
• Ability to work in various physical environments and weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
