What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time COLTS Dispatcher/Administrative Assistant position at Lee County Government?
Description of Work:
Provides dispatch for the COLTS operation. Assists with scheduling and record verification for routing detail and payment authorizations. Assist with walk in and telephone customers to facilitate their requests and inquiries. Provides back -up assistance to administrative staff as requested and needed. Other responsibilities as needed. Work is coordinate d, observed, reviewed, and evaluated by the Administrative Associates and Transportation Coordinator.
Knowledge of:
Local government organization and services; Data entry with customer service principles.
Minimum Education & Experience:
High School or GED, and at least two years of data entry and customer service or public contact experience, preferably in local government. Prefer Associate Degree in Office Administration or other administrative degree.
Required skills:
Efficient computer and data entry skills. Providing courteous and informed assistance and customer service to the COLTS passengers and contractors. Maintaining confidentiality; communicating effectively orally and in writing; using Microsoft Office (Outlo ok, Word, Excel, Publisher). Must train on TrIP Maker Scheduling Software.
Must be available for flexible hours including early morning.
Valid driver’s license in the State of North Carolina.
