We need someone who can juggle multiple tasks with ease and always has a smile on their face. You’ll be working alongside a fantastic team that’s all about creating the best experience for the residents and employees of Lee County. - Maintain and organize files/records.
- Handle customer service inquiries, prepare daily membership registrations and deposit transactions.
- Prepare correspondences and generate reports.
- Update and maintain databases, and research data.
- Clean restrooms, locker rooms, and general maintenance within the facility on a daily basis.
- Process invoices and deposits.
- Proficient in RecTrac.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or GED and one year of related experience with high-level clerical and/or technical duties such as filing, operating office equipment, customer inquiries, preparing correspondences, maintaining databases, and generating reports.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
- First Aid and CPR Training required within 6 months of hire date or employment will end.
- One year of experience in parks and recreation.
- Six months of experience working with large groups of children.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, managing over 30 transactions per hour.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the public and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency with computers and software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher; Canva and RecTrac are preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Basic math skills and experience with cashier-type transactions (credit card, checks, refunds, deposits).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as setting up and breaking down events, cleaning, and working outdoors.
