Job Summary
Lee County Plumbing, is a family owned and orientated plumbing construction and home services business in Ft Myers. We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) HR & Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources, payroll, benefits administration, insurance, employee relations, compliance, employee training and development, and workplace culture.
This position plays a key role in supporting the company’s growth, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage employee relations by addressing issues, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations, including workers' compensation.
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth and development.
- Utilize Kronos and PeopleSoft for workforce management, payroll processing, and reporting.
- Conduct employee evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Design organizational structures that promote efficiency and effectiveness within teams.
- Manage program management activities related to training, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager.
- Strong knowledge of strategic planning, employment labor law, change management, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in HR software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
