Lee Douglas Interiors is a full service commercial and residential design firm servicing clients, builders, and outside designers, while offering a retail storefront open to the public with in stock furniture, accessories, and artwork.
Lee Douglas Interiors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our installation team. We are committed to providing top-notch installation services for drapes, blinds, artwork, and special projects that our designers and clients dream up.
Responsibilities
- Install drapes, drapery hardware, and blinds according to precise measurements and specifications.
- Site visits to measure accurately for blinds and drapery.
- Hang artwork, mirrors, and other wall accessories securely and accurately.
- Collaborate with interior designers and project managers to execute installation plans.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Proven experience with installation, specifically drapes, blinds, and artwork.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR for past five (5) years.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely (no forklift).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
