Our privately-owned dental office is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Dental Front Office/Receptionist to join us in a great deal of fun. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Office Manager and other team members when needed.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage scheduling using the Dentrix system.
- Handle incoming calls through our phone systems, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before patient appointments.
- Collect patient information and manage collections as needed.
- Assist in coordinating office activities to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Verify patients' dental insurance benefits.
- Explain insurance benefits to patients.
- Enter data using dental practice management software.
- Confirm appointments with patients via phone or email.
- Inform patients of payment options, if applicable.
