Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic evaluation, physiology knowledge, and experience in providing care in various medical settings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions such as hospice palliative medicine, internal medicine, and post-operative care
- Assist in discharge planning and patient education
- Work in a Level II Trauma Center environment, handling cases ranging from primary care to critical conditions
- Perform venipuncture and other nursing procedures as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in Progressive Care or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation, physiology knowledge, and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine, operating room (OR) procedures, internal medicine practices, and discharge planning
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is a plus
- Ability to perform venipuncture is desirable

Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,160.00 per week
