We are assisting a client company in finding an experienced Civil Engineering Sr. Project Manager
Role Description
This role is based in Santa Clarita, CA with full relocation provided . The role involves supervising the work of Engineers, Designers, and other project staff; managing project schedules and budgets; preparation and handling of contracts, proposals, scopes of work; and interacting with public agency employees.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in civil engineering project management
- BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (Strongly Preferred)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in land development and / or public works (required); or the equivalent work experience of twelve (12) years in the industry .
- Experience supervising design teams.
- Site assessment, the ability to perform engineering design studies (incorporating infrastructure requirements, and potential regulatory issues)
- Preparation / processing of regulatory plans
- Preparation / processing of public improvement plans in support of public agencies and capital improvement projects
- Preparation / processing of plans to support land development projects
- Expert in preparation / processing of plans through Los Angeles and Ventura County Public Works.
- Ability to perform constructability reviews
- Experience with a range of construction support services
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software and tools : Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, AutoCAD / Civil 3D, etc.
- Experience with budgeting and resource management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
