Responsibilities:
Establishing personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devising strategies to meet those goals.
Maintaining product knowledge of new and pre-owned inventory; understanding vehicle features and describing their benefit to customers.
Demonstrating automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; participating in test drives, comparing competitive models, explaining warranties and services.
Prospecting and following up daily for potential customers. Maintaining consistent rapport with previously sold customers.
Learning to overcome objections, asking for the sale, negotiating the sale, completing lease and purchase agreements, explaining warranties, services, and other dealership products.
Following dealership safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an automobile salesperson, with a proven sales history preferred. We are however committed to training the right candidate.
Internet sales experience a plus.
Confidence in your ability to be successful.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic.
Great attitude with a high-energy personality.
Superior customer service skills.
A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment.
Self-starter and self-motivated.
Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
