Sanitation Operator - Janitor
To perform this job successfully, an individual must keep premises and office building(s) in clean and orderly condition
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform daily janitorial for offices, conference rooms, kitchens, hallways, lobby, corridors, stairways, restrooms, and other work areas.
- Clean after company events: tables, floors, wash dishes, and counters.
- Working with caution to prevent injury. Notify management of any safety issues in common areas.
- Maintain inventory of all supplies for cleaning, kitchen, and paper goods for both Plant A and Plant B.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
This position requires a high school diploma or general education (GED). Candidate must have at least six months prior janitorial experience. Must be able to mix cleaning chemicals, operate cleaning equipment safely, and follow simple instructions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
This individual must be able to speak, read and understand basic English in order to identify toxic/ hazardous cleaning labels.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ideal candidate must be able to apply basic mathematical concepts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
