Full-Time / Pontiac, MI.
Work Location
This position requires flexibility to travel to jobsites around metro Detroit and to other states when projects arise. Travel and mileage reimbursements along with per-diem will be provided when applicable. When not assigned to a jobsite the selected candidate will report to our Pontiac, Michigan office.

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Project Engineer. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the successful execution of industrial machinery installation projects, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and safety throughout the project lifecycle. From managing project documentation and schedules to coordinating with contractors, you will be instrumental in maintaining project progress and resolving technical issues. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules and timelines.
- Facilitate or support communication between architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Review, distribute, and maintain project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Manage submittals and RFIs.
- Monitor project costs and support cost control efforts.
- Assist with subcontractor invoices, billings, pay applications, and change orders.
- Update and maintain project records, including schedules, drawings, and reports.
- Document meetings and decisions for follow-up.
- Support site safety documentation and enforce corporate safety policies.
- Assist with project closeout, including final inspections and documentation turnover.
