Lee Martinez Elementary Transfer Request Application

Requests will only be considered if the application is properly completed and submitted online by February 14, 2025.

~IMPORTANT~

All employees interested in being considered for a lateral transfer to Lee Martinez Elementary for the 2025/2026 school year must submit a transfer application by applying to this posting between February 14, 2025, and March 5, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.

Transfer requests may only be made for positions similar to your current assignment or pay grade (e.g. classroom teacher to classroom teacher, etc.).* If you are interested in any other type of job change (e.g. classroom teacher to counselor), you must go through the regular job application process as the transfer process is not used for this type of position change. Any position movement that requires a salary increase or decrease is not considered a transfer.

Using a common set of criteria such as required qualifications, experience, certification,  and campus needs, the LMES principal will review transfer requests and select the candidates to be interviewed. Candidates who are interviewed but not offered a position will be notified as soon as reasonably possible. The transfer application form will provide an opportunity to enter three grade level/subject preferences in order of preference.

If you want to transfer to Lee Martinez Elementary and do not meet the 4:00 pm deadline on March 5, 2025, you will need to apply online for an internal position that is open at that time. To be eligible for a position after the deadline, the position would have to be considered a promotion.
