Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon Needed in Southwest Florida
Lee Health is seeking a fellowship trained, BE/BC Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon to join its dynamic team in coastal southwest Florida. This region offers a beach/vacation lifestyle with warm weather year-round, beautiful beaches, and numerous recreational parks and ecological preserves.
The Musculoskeletal Institute at Lee Health aims to become a regional and national destination for clinical excellence in musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. As part of this strategic priority, we are expanding our program to meet increasing regional demand and hiring expert physicians and surgeons.
Position Information:
- Candidates must have completed both an Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship.
- In addition to building their subspecialty practice, the incoming surgeon will provide occasional general orthopedic call coverage at a Level 3 hospital.
The current orthopedic group is expanding to meet volume challenges and cover additional hospital and outpatient locations within the region. Our new surgeons build subspecialty practice volume quickly due to a large referral base comprised of primary care providers, Emergency Departments, and Convenient Care locations.
