Delivery Driver/Warehouse/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks. A commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations is essential.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmissions.
• Load and unload goods, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Ensure accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to optimize delivery routes.
• Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving items and organizing inventory.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a delivery box van is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50-100 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of building materials to include doors, windows, cabinets, garage doors, moldings and door hardware preferred.
• Experience with construction materials and power tools preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
