Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Able to work
1st shift: 4:00 AM to 12:15 PM and 2nd shift: 9:45 AM to 6:00 PM
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
Location: Garden Grove, CA
Job Summary:
The Food Production position will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of food items according to the quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Portions of food products before cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, walls, grills, fryers, oven, and refrigeration equipment
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing the kitchen
- Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems to Manager
- Informs Manager immediately of product shortages
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Basic English to read, understand, and communicate essential job functions.
- Ability to interpret and follow simple instructions, recipes, production sheets, temperature logs, safety guidelines, and MSDS sheets.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
