About the Role
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care in line with departmental requirements and state-specific standards. This involves collaborating with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Director or Manager, the Registered Nurse coordinates and provides patient care, assuming individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
- The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and unit structure standards.
Requirements:
- A.D.N or BSN degree preferred.
- A current MO RN license or multistate RN license upon hire; a MO RN license will be required within 90 days of employment if only a multistate RN license is provided upon hire.
- BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 90 days of hire and annually within the fiscal year.
