What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Maintenance Seasonal Worker position at Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation?
This is a great part-time position if you enjoy working outside and serving your community! The Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for a seasonal Parks Maintenance Site Supervisor to perform a variety of duties involving the maintenance and construction of park grounds, landscaping, plant and tree care, sports field maintenance, and facility maintenance. Parks Maintenance Workers develop strong skillsets in practical abilities, interpersonal communication and attention to detail. This is a good opportunity for someone interested in a future career in construction, turf management, plumbing or HVAC.
This position will be 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday (7 a.m.- 3 p.m.)
Basic Qualifications: 18 years of age, a valid state driver’s license required.
Salary: $13.80 / hr.
