Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Weight Room Attendant to join the dynamic team at J. Thomas Lovell Jr. Community Center. This position will be working mornings, evenings, and weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with the operations and cleaning of the assigned facility, including providing patron services, equipment orientation, and monitoring of activities to ensure compliance with rules and regulations. LSPR Weight Room Attendants develop organizational, communication, team building, and attention to detail skills. This is a good position for someone interested in a future health services or fitness career.
Minimum qualifications include basic First Aid and CPR/AED required within (3) months of date of hire. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
This position will be scheduled for 20 hours a week based on availability and needs of the facility.
Compensation: $13.80 per hour.
