What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable position at Lee's Summit Subaru?
Lee’s Summit Honda/Subaru is looking for an organized individual that enjoys a fast paced environment to fill our opening for Accounts Payable/Receivable.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Posts daily payable invoices
- Post and reconcile monthly credit card statements
- Reconciles schedules
- Maintains accounts payable files
- Records vendor information for 1099 reporting and prepares year end 1099 statements
- Issues Company purchase order policy to new vendors
- Answers all vendor inquires
- Prepares accounts payable checks
- Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
- Assists in monthly closing
- Maintains credit applications on recurring accounts
- Records sales tax exempt information
- Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts
- Assists with related special projects, as required
- Any other duties assigned
Experience:
- AP experience a
- AR experience a
- Prior dealership experience a
- Computer literacy and ability to type 45 wpm
- High school diploma or equivalent
