Packing and Shipping Clerk

Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy is located in a state-of-the-art facility in Beachwood, Ohio. We are an industry-leading compounding pharmacy specializing in Sterile Medications, Functional Medicine, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement, Pain Management, Lyme Disease, Veterinary medicine, Pediatrics, and Dermatology. We are licensed to dispense medications to 45 states, including California and Texas.

We have an immediate need for a part-time Packing/Shipping Worker.

Must be able to work Monday- Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

This position is responsible for one of the most important aspects of our job at Lee Silsby. Ensuring that the crucial medications are safely packed, labeled and ready for shipping. The individual who fits this position will be willing to work with our Compliance department so that they can help make sure all steps are followed so that our patients' medications are handled properly.

Some of the tasks associated with this role include:

• Assembling boxes and coolers.
• Packing medication- Refrigerated and non
• Prepare customer orders and package them accordingly, ensuring distributor packaging requirements are met
• Monitoring and confirming that all relevant information matches from order sheets to the orders being packaged.
• Assisting Shipping Manager in all needed set up and clean up for each day's tasks.
• Organizing and filing order sheets once complete.
• Ensuring the correct label goes onto the package per customer and company requirements.
• Stocking excess inventory in designated areas
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Reaching, bending, stretching as required to lift, handle, and or inspect products.
• Maintain production pace.
• Understand product specifications for product being packed, inform supervisor of deviations from those specifications.
• Lifting as required up to 30 lbs to a height of 72”.
• Function in close quarters as a member of a team.

• Ability to follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
