What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse position at Lee Supply Corp?
Job Duties:
- Prepare truck for operation by loading, securing, and verifying the accuracy of items to be shipped.
- Perform daily inspections of truck to ensure safe and cost effective performance with preventative maintenance in mind.
- Deliver orders via the most effective route
- Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received.
- Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies to company.
- Increase customer satisfaction by collecting information, feedback on service, and resolving complaints per company policy.
- Inform customers of new products and service that can increase customer satisfaction and sales
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a safe driving record free of violations.
- Assist branch with any other warehouse duties
Job requirements:
- CDL preferred; for hire endorsement required
- 3 years driving experience
- DOT Medical card
- Excellent driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
