Showroom Plumbing Sales

Brand new showroom is now open in Dayton, OH!

The Plumbing Sales Consultant increases sales, market share, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with the consumer public, suppliers, contractors and their clients in choosing items for kitchens, baths and recreational areas. Sales consultants provide expert product selection assistance, expediting orders from vendors and conducting customer visits as needed.

Job Duties:

• Work with customers, contractors and vendors in planning, product selection, product specs and quotations
• Use strong consultative sales skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills (both oral and written), attention to detail, strong follow-up skills and motivation to make the sale
• Assist manager in marketing campaigns
• Track customer returns
• Maintain accurate and organized customer files
• Schedule deliveries
• Work with local outside salespeople to assist in following up with any issues
• Visit job sites as needed to measure or provide client services
• Develop long-term relationships with builders and contractors
• Read blueprints to ensure compatibility between product ordered and customer desire and needs
• Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts
• Coordinate the ordering, receiving and delivery of products in a timely manner
• Use appropriate office technologies and computers to process and track orders and maintain excellent communication with all contacts
• Assist with special projects such as trade shows and display changes

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years sales experience
• Plumbing product knowledge preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Detail oriented and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift 25 lbs

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
• Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
