POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for assisting the Human Resource Benefits Manager provide benefit administration service and information to employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Benefits Manager in providing administrative service and information to employees and benefit program administrators regarding group life, health/dental benefits and pension plan.
- Assists with employee enrollment, communication and distribution of benefit information to the properties.
- Maintains files of benefits history, data, correspondence, reports and forms.
- Assists with the coordination of training programs and open enrollment.
- Answers basic benefits questions.
- Is responsible for knowing all events in the property as a whole.
- Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
- Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
- Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
