POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION : Responsible for general repairs and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs within level of ability and training.
- Responsible for monitoring, operating and maintaining all mechanical equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining physical building including structural and cosmetic
- Keeps the mechanical rooms, electrical and other work areas clean.
- Provides proper safety and security to company assets, including personnel.
- Assists personnel with carpentry, plumbing, welding, masonry, boiler, electrical and HVAC systems.
- Understands and follows all applicable Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures.
- Adheres to all rules and regulations pertaining to the mechanical maintenance department.
- Maintains daily log, maintenance forms, and requested reports for management.
- Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
- Attends and / or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
- Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
- Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Required : High School Graduate or General Educate Degree (GED)
Experience : Six months related experience
Computer Skills : Must have basic computer skills
Certificates & Licenses : Must meet Tribal / State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
