POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION: Oversees maintenance of all areas of hotel housekeeping and supervises and instructs staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains all areas of hotel.
- Assists Guest Room Attendants when needed.
- Trains in for room cleaning.
- Ensures all guest contact is handled in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Responds to guest inquiries in a timely, expedient manner.
- Distributes incoming supplies.
- Distributes laundry to designated areas.
- Stacks linen room shelves neatly.
- Assists in laundry when needed.
- Trains in for use of laundry equipment, cleaning chemicals and cleaning methods.
- Maintains the appearance of the hotel by light repair work, i.e. touch-up paint, plaster repair.
- Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
- Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
- Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
- Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
