What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Assembler (1st Shift - 07:00 a.m.) position at LEEDO MANUFACTURING CO., L.P.?

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for building all base and wall cabinets according to the following steps.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Responsible for placing the frame facing down on table
- Responsible for applying glue in frame and end grooves as necessary
- Responsible for nailing the end panels and bottom to the frame
- Responsible for stapling the hangers to the back of the cabinet
- Responsible for installing the toe kick on the cabinet
- Responsible for placing the shelf in cabinet.
- Responsible for installation of plastic corner blocks on the cabinet (4)
- Responsible for application of hot glue, label and send doors on top of the cabinet
- Responsible for loading cabinet on conveyor.
- Additional duties as assigned by Assembly Dept. Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to distinguish wood species and door styles.
- Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing hourly goals.
- Must have a basic ability for reading and writing.
Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education.
Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions
Factory environment, possibly including heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
