What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Inspector - 1st Shift (7am to 7:30pm) position at LEEDO MANUFACTURING CO., L.P.?
The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting all the cabinets coming on the assembly line and confirms they meet the quality standards. Responsible for pulling out of the line the cabinets with quality issues for repair or replacement.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to physically perform daily tasks, including lifting of large particleboard sheets or parts weighing in excess of 50 lbs or more.
- Must be able to perform written data entry tasks.
- Must be able to distinguish between different species of wood and door styles.
- Must be able to distinguish between different colors.
- Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape and caliper in metric dimensions.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing hourly goals and daily duties.
Education and Experience:
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education.
Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions:
- Factory environment, possibly including heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
