Job Description
This position is responsible for purchasing, shipping, receiving, and inventory coordination ensuring accurate material handling, distribution, and inventory management to guarantee internal process and external customer satisfaction, while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
A. Oversee daily activities including purchasing, shipping, and receiving to ensure a safe work environment, timely and accurate material and product handling, and process improvements.
- Assist in the planning, organizing, and control of the work performed within the warehouse.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with company policies, procedures and government regulations.
- Provide information to the Management Team on daily operations or when situations arise that may require his / her involvement or to expedite problem resolution and improvements.
B. Purchasing and receiving products and materials to ensure accurate and organized inventory in the warehouse.
C. Coordinate, organize and maintain product inventory in the warehouse ensuring product availability, organization and accuracy.
D. Maintain a clean warehouse to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
E. Perform special projects and other activities to result in a favorable input to the department and / or the company.
F. Cooperate with peers and supervisors to achieve company goals by coordinating actions and decisions with other departments.
G. Participate in continuous improvement / quality initiatives to enhance company processes to achieve quality, accuracy and timeliness.
