Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Lead to manage and oversee the accounts receivable functions within our organization. This role requires strong experience in posting payments, creating billing, B2B collections, and researching and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a team, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with our business clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily accounts receivable functions, including posting payments and creating billing statements.
- Lead B2B collections efforts, ensuring timely payments from clients and managing delinquent accounts.
- Research and resolve discrepancies, working closely with internal teams and clients to clarify issues.
- Prepare and review accounts receivable reports, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts receivable activities.
- Supervise, train, and mentor accounts receivable staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, including sales and customer service, to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, providing necessary reports and documentation.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving accounts receivable efficiency and reducing outstanding balances.
- Maintain and update customer records, ensuring that all necessary billing information is accurate and current.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, including B2B collections and payment posting.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $63,291.00 - $66,539.00 per year
