Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process, ensuring that all documentation is meticulously managed and that case files are organized. This position requires a strong understanding of legal procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with the preparation of legal documents for court filings and hearings.
- Manage case files using document management systems to ensure all materials are organized and accessible.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
- Review and summarize documents for relevance and importance in litigation cases.
- Maintain compliance with Tribal law regulations as applicable to various cases.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases.
- Prepare trial binders and exhibits for court proceedings.
- Assist in drafting contracts and other legal agreements as needed.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Familiarity with document management systems and legal case management software.
- Proficient in conducting legal research and document review.
- Knowledge of litigation processes and procedures, including the ability to assist in litigating cases effectively.
- Understanding of Tribal law regulations is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
