We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal Professional to join our immigration services team as a Paralegal Professional - Immigration Services. In this role, you'll support our attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents for employment-based and humanitarian immigration cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on immigration laws, policies, and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Draft high-quality correspondence to clients, USCIS, and other agencies, including preparation of exhibits, forms, and evidence packets.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and documents, answer case-related questions, and provide status updates.
- Liaise with government agencies to ensure timely and efficient processing of immigration cases.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or paralegal certificate (required); bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience working in an immigration law firm (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of immigration processes, including family-based petitions, employment visas, and deportation defense.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
